Drainage & Carriageway Resurfacing Works on B3354 Winchester Road

As part of Operation Resilience, Hampshire County Council’s programme to make Hampshire’s roads more resilient to the effects of extreme weather and heavy traffic, Hampshire County Council will be undertaking drainage & carriageway resurfacing works on B3354 Winchester Road from Fishers Pond junction with the B2177 to Crowd Hill, south by the Fox & Hounds Public House.

The drainage works are programmed to start on 4th June 2018 and are expected to last for 7 working nights.

The carriageway resurfacing works are programmed to start 14th June 2018 and are expected to last for 5 working nights.

Due to the nature of the work and for safety reasons, it will be necessary to close B3354 Winchester Road to through traffic for both aspects of the scheme.  The works will be carried out at night between 20:00 to 06:00. The road will be open as normal during the daytime hours & no works will take place over the weekends.

Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected approximately 2 weeks before the start of works.
